| Abstract/Summary | "Christopher, a heartbroken, puny little boy, cries himself to sleep because he cannot take part in athletics with his friends. While asleep he dreams that Rococo, a festive clown, shows him how he can be strong and healthy by eating wholesome food. After hearing the little songs and seeing the dancing which the Basket People, representing the good foods, perform for him, he resolves to follow their advice and eat only those foods which will make him strong and healthy. The play ends with an impressive ballet of all characters involved" (from State-Wide Museum Extension Project Catalog, p. 49). |
