Library owns 1 of 18 dioramas in set "Miniature Indian Dioramas." From State-Wide Museum Extension Project Catalog (p. 39): "Indian domestic life, customs and activities are portrayed by these models. They are specially designed with hinged top, to be set on schoolroom window sills, so that lighting effects may be achieved without artificial means. Two only to a school". An illustrated brochure describing all 18 [dioramas] is sent with every shipment." Accompanying brochure not owned by Library. Item is part of a collection consisting of educational visual aids created by the Pennsylvania Museum Extension Project.
