Notes The Old Florida Seafood House opened in 1976 and is considered a landmark in Wilton Manors. During the winter season, there can be long lines around prime dining time, a testament to the place's enduring popularity. The Old Florida Seafood House has red vinyl booths, an assortment of nautical knickknacks and sturdy, no-nonsense furnishings reminiscent of 1970s decor. There are lots of homey touches such as the basket of homemade pumpernickel bread and baguettes. The restaurant serves quality seafood which includes traditional favorites such as shrimp au gratin, lobster Newburg and shrimp scampi as well as broiled or sautéed fish.
